The flashmob-idea arose while Maren talked to her friends about how to survive as a dance school during covid.

“Everyone has their own personal BELIEVE IN YOURSELF-story. Everyone must have had the feeling of doubt and was maybe discouraged and did not know how to handle a tough situation in life – me too.” This is what Caro answered when Maren told her the BELIEVE IN YOURSELF-philosophy the first time.
„Even if it may seem difficult and you stop to believe in yourself – you should keep on working. Surround yourself with people who love and support you.”
From the point of Caro getting to know about the idea onwards, she was immediately excited. "For me as well is BELIEVE IN YOURSELF not just a project. It is something which is very close to my heart. The flashmob brings people of different ages and life situations together. One talks to each other – and of course the current pandemic plays a particular role in this.
The training together is always fun and connects. Working on the project and coordinating everything for the big day repeatedly motivates me.“
Caro enjoys seeing others dance the choreography with all the energy and is extremely happy that so many participants, as well as the BELIEVE IN YOURSELF-team, are so hocked on this project.
"I love to hear that the weekly training functions as a good alternative to the “pandemic life” and that it gives a perspective.
However, the goal of this one-time project is giving everyone the mentality to never give up on themselves. It should encourage people. I am happy to be a part of the team and I look forward helping in any shape of form.
Even after the big day the project BELIEVE IN YOURSELF will continue, in whatever shape of form this should be"

Jacky has also been a part of the journey and development of the "BELIEVE IN YOURSELF"-flashmob. She has helped Maren, together with Caro, behind the scenes and additionally is in charge of the social media part.
"Believing in myself, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, is not always easy for me. On the other hand, helping others and telling them to believe in themselves I find easy.“
The first time Maren told Jacky und Caro about the flashmob-idea and the background, the project was just planned to be an event in Herford. Jacky was immediately thrilled and soon became a part of the team. She continued to help developed the project to a flashmob throughout Germany.

I hope that people try to look into the inside of others and do not judge from the outside. I, myself, has to always remember the concept BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. However, with the help and encouragement of my family, friends and the flashmob-team I am continuously reminded about this. I am proud to be a part of the extraordinary project and I hope that this project will help others to find their own belief. I am really excited about the day where we all will celebrate life together.”

Mario is responsible for the marketing and media work. He helps to set up our website and online-shop with all his practical knowledge. Furthermore, he assists us with the final touches on our videos.

Michelle

Michelle has been supporting Maren for several years. She met Maren during a fair and since then she has been responsible for the advertising material of the DANCE COMPANY HERFORD together with her company “Tex Max”.
"Maren told me about the flashmob-idea during the early stages and I was so inspired. I was keen on not only helping to organise such a huge event for Herford but also the whole idea behind BELIEVE IN YOURSELF was amazing: a coaching held by the BOAT-Academy being financed with the sales of the merchandise items! I was right away clear to me that I would support the project with 'Tex Max'.”
Michelle advises Maren with her knowledge about the quality of the products and helps decide on the finishing touches.
Maren says this about the work with Michelle: "With the help of Michelle I can truly find the right product for my ideas even when they are insane. Patrick Kowalewski has been working since 2008 with all his heart and soul as a coach and personality developer.
After a commercial training he worked in the sales force and dedicated his time to his business studies, several trainings in the Life- and Business coaching field and the personality development. Afterwards he decided to go into a different direction.
He believes firmly that every human can be happy and successful, that we are more than just our thoughts and feelings and that everyone is valuable and is enough for everything in life.
"I am very happy to be a part of the "BELIEVE IN YOURSELF"-project and that I can show people what REALLY is within us.”

Tatjana is responsible for the orders and their transactions from the online-shop.

Thomas
Recording studio & Media production
Thomas is the man behind the sound and videos. He works in the media production field and has inter alia worked with RTL or for the Heide Park.
Maren and Thomas firstly worked together while shooting for the „Herforder Night of Sport 2019“. This was followed by further projects. Maren says: „Working together with Thomas and his team is always a pleasure and their work is very professional. Therefore, I am even more thrilled that he has said yes to this project.”
Thomas says: „The idea is wonderful and I find it very astonishing to see how it evolved from this small idea to such a huge project. I am very happy to be a part of the team. The idea to make a film of the BELIEVE IN YOURSELF-stories is amazing. Others will be encouraged through this and this is very important during the current situation.”
